ESQ continues to provide engineering services for this 130 lot residential subdivision. ESQ assisted with the preparation and achievement of development approvals by way of providing engineering services reports for stormwater management and traffic management. Our office also provided detailed design services for the operational works application and provided contract administration services for stage 1, which has now been completed. ESQ were able to assist our clients with achieving alternative engineering solutions that saved significant cost and also increased the yield of the project.
Urangan Commercial Centre
ESQ provided the civil engineering detailed design and documentation for this shopping centre which includes an Aldi supermarket, a McDonald's restaurant and a mix of other retail offerings. The project includes a signalised intersection with Boat Harbour Drive, significant stormwater drainage and a sewerage pump station along with other civil engineering works. Both the stormwater and environmental constraints were challenges to be worked into a design outcome for this project and ESQ was able to work both these significant constraints into a solution that provided the best outcome for our client.
Hervey Bay Heights Stage 2
ESQ assisted in delivering the relevant approvals to allow the construction of this 41 lot residential subdivision in the heart of Hervey Bay. Consideration of stormwater management on this site was a critical component of the design philosophy and ESQ negotiated with the Local authority an outcome that achieved the best solution for our client via stormwater modelling and management. This site also required significant earthworks acknowledging the balance of the master plan for the site and the surrounding environment and existing residents.
Pavement Rehabilitation Works
ESQ has worked with Fraser Coast Regional Council to provide the best option for pavement rehabilitation works to ensure minimum disruption to traffic and a cost-effective outcome on a number of projects throughout the Fraser Coast Region. With a mix of pavement replacement and stabilisation works as the design outcomes, our client has been provided with the outcome they desired.
Mary Harbour Master Planned Community
ESQ has been engaged by MSF Sugar Limited as project coordinator for this iconic project situated on the banks of the Mary River. ESQ has assisted our client in liaising with all consultants, both state and local government agencies and other stakeholders in this project to date. ESQ's role has been important to the creation of a master plan that specifically meets the brief of the client whilst acknowledging both the physical and environmental constraints, as well as the statutory constraints.
